Get in TouchSoundCloud wanted a cleaner experience for new users and a means to showcase the artists most important to their platform, audience, and partners. Third Bridge Creative developed a plan to launch a branded curation department at SoundCloud, and established both the team and the tools for discovering, organizing, and displaying priority content within SoundCloud.
Working off a product release strategy designed in collaboration with SoundCloud, we recruited, vetted, and helped onboard a team of best-in-class music experts to curate branded playlists and evaluate content, as well as provide consulting services for SoundCloud. We also sourced, vetted, and helped onboard additional supporting personnel—producers and managing editors.
A fully functioning and staffed team that oversaw regularly updated franchise playlists, managed merchandising of SoundCloud's browse page, and provided the platform with valuable intelligence on emerging artists, sounds, and scenes. In some instances, Third Bridge Creative was able to initially onboard specific personnel internally and then transition them to FTE SoundCloud employees, providing a resource pipeline for the client.
