THE PROJECT

TBC wanted to build a one-of-a-kind music site that engaged fans by orienting pieces of written content around a playlist. Our goal was to bridge the gap between music consumption and music editorial, as well as create a music marketing channel for label and brand partnerships.

THE SOLUTION

Launched in 2017, The Dowsers published hundreds of articles focused on genres, scenes, artists, and trends with each article accompanied by a unique playlist curated to the theme of that article.

THE RESULTS

Our playlists gathered tens of thousands of followers on Spotify and on social media. We also hosted sponsored content packages for Rhino, Craft Recordings, Mutek, and Gimme Radio.
